The Teamsters Airline Division, The Aviation Mechanics Coalition and Northrop Rice USA have partnered to offer an educational foundation for anyone seeking to get qualified for an entry-level job at manufacturers, MRO, and repair facilities where aircraft maintenance certificates are not always required.
After an online course and eight-week onsite course, you will have the knowledge and skills you need to enter the aviation industry through employment in fields like:
- General Aviation (smaller aircraft)
- Corporate (business aircraft)
- Helicopters and EMS
- Commercial (airlines)
- Repair Stations
- Modification Centers
- Manufacturing
- Defense Contractors
- Public Use (Government)
- Aerospace Organizations
Once established in the field, graduates may also begin to build the hours required to take the A&P exam to become a fully licensed Aviation Maintenance Technician.
