Responsibilities:
• Provide test engineering support
• Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how to support user requirements for complex to highly complex software and hardware applications
• Must be able to operate successfully in a dynamic environment with minimal direction/supervision
• Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies
• Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to meet system requirements• Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products

• Interface with customers and vendors to resolve test problems that cause test failures
• Design and develop test standards
• Review and evaluate complex test specifications, test results, and test trends and implement corrective actions
• Provide feedback on test trends, returns, and vendor performance
• Write, implement, and report status for system test cases
• Analyze test cases and provide progress reports
• Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and software/hardware development
• Analyze user requirements, design tests, and select test tools
• Participate in all phases of the system/software development lifecycle

Requirements:

• BS degree with 5-7 years of experience, MS degree with 3-5 years of experience or HS degree with 11-13 years of experience.
• Five to seven years telecommunication and networking experience
• DoD Secret level clearance
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance/access

Preferred:

Cisco CCENT certification
