· Identify, assess, and evaluate moderately complex product/service solutions

· Coordinate resolution of product/service issues, upgrades and problems

· Interact with management to assess major business processes and address product/service needs

· Develop and deliver presentations to customer leadership

· Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software

· Troubleshoot production problems related to software applications

· Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products

· Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software

· Address problems of system integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms

· Consult with project teams and end users to identify application requirements

· Perform feasibility analyses on potential future projects

· Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and test tools

· Resolve problems with software and respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancement

· Instruct, assign, direct, and check the work of other software developers on the development team

· Participate in development of software user manuals of new processes and technical alternatives to resolve problems and/or for general improvements


· BS degree

· Five to seven years application development and program support experience

· Current DoD Secret level clearance

· Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance/access

· Experience with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio

· Experience working in a team environment

· VCP certification

· Setup, configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft domain environments

· Installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange servers

· 2+ years Cloud/VCO/Workflow esperience

· 2+ years vRealize suite experience

· 2+ years vCops experience

· 2+ years JavaScript/coding experience

· 7+ years experience with VMware

· 5+ years experience using Windows/Linux


· Experience with Agile development

· DCA VMware certification

· VCP Advanced certification

· Windows Server certification

· Linux certification

· Horizon View/VDI experience

· General understanding of storage (Datastore, SAN, NFS, FiberChannel, etc.)

· VMware NSX experience

· Hyper-V / Openstack / Other hypervisor experienceDemonstrate intermediate level VMware skills and experience with installation, configuration, and administration of ESXi 5.x, vSphere 5.x, and/or vCloud 5.x suites

· Demonstrate intermediate level Windows 7, Server 2008/2012 (DNS, IIS, SQL Server, Domain Controller, Active Directory role configuration experience)
