The SAIC Team is pursuing an exciting opportunity to provide communications research, engineering, development and operational support to the High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP)/Defense Research and Engineering Network Program (DREN). This support will include services and solutions in the form of research, development, test, evaluation, production and fielding for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR). The level of effort encompasses tasking in support of HPCMP and DREN/Secret Defense Research Engineering Network (SDREN) Program Management Offices, HPCMP/DREN Operations Support, the HPCMP Security Engineering Support, the HPCMP Security Operations Support and the HPCMP/DREN Network Operations Support.

As a result, SAIC is looking for qualified candidates to work with our customer in the Adelphi and Aberdeen MD area. Qualified candidates would be a part of a team performing various efforts including security, research and development support for software and network engineering needed for experimental development and testing of advanced and emerging HPC networking technologies; for example, the DoD Optical Network Test bed. System analysis, software and networking engineering, development and research will be performed in order to accomplish assigned missions.

Accordingly, the SAIC Team is seeking talented professionals and incumbent personnel to staff this program in anticipation of contract award. Positions require a DoD clearance as indicated below, however candidates who possess a TOP SECRET clearance with Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) are eligible to apply for SCI positions if they are willing to obtain the additional security requirements. Travel Requirements

Most tasks will be performed within the customer’s spaces with the highest concentrations of activities at the customer’s facilities in Adelphi and Aberdeen MD. Some travel will be required to perform activities at satellite facilities at various CONUS locations.
