This is a proposal position (contingent upon contract award).
This position is in support of Services for the Product Manager Manned Aerial Reconnaissance and Surveillance Systems (PdM MARSS) to provide tactically relevant manned Aerial Intelligence, Reconnaissance and Surveillance (AISR) to the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) in support of current and emerging Overseas Contingency Operations (OCO). Program responsibilities include Contractor-provided services to include technology insertion, system integration/installation, fabrication/prototyping, testing/certification, studies/analyses, CLS, O&S, training and engineering support of SOCOM Tactical Airborne Multi-Sensor Platforms (STAMP) aircraft and acquisition, modification and integration for the Primary Mission Equipment (PME) on GOCO and/or COCO systems. This is a proposal position contingent upon a successful contract award. Only those candidates selected will be contacted for an interview.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or a related scientific/technical discipline.
Twelve (12) years of progressive experience in design and development.
Five (5) years management and supervision of substantive military hardware/software development.
Five (5) years systems analysis.
Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and implementation of all contract support activities. Interface with government personnel. Formulate and review project feasibility studies, determine costs, ensure conformance to work standards. Interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organizations for subordinates. Manage logistics support analysis for military systems. Manage systems safety studies. Identify, acquire and utilize company resources to achieve project technical objectives.
Program Management experience supporting Aviation program involving technology insertion, system integration/installation, fabrication/prototyping, testing/certification, studies/analyses, CLS, O&S, training or engineering support.
Security Clearance Required:
SECRET preferred. Ability to possess security clearance at the time of TO Management Plan approval required.
