Currently, ManTech is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to provide unparralleled support for an exciting and rewarding opportunity in Clarksburg, WV area. The selected individual will be part of team the will help to provide support on a mission critical program that helps protect the lives and safety of individuals across the nation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Perform daily duties of backups, maintenance on applications and OS, patching, tuning and troubleshooting
  • Configure system based on requested changes
  • Follow CM process to effectively manage environment changes
  • Provide on-call support, as required during the year, supporting mission critical systems (on call rotation
  • Provide necessary instruction and documentation for change requests, installing operating systems, loading (installing) COTS products, and configuring operating systems and COTS products
  • Troubleshoot connection problems with outside clients
Qualifications include:
  • Requires Bachelor?s degree (Computer Science/Engineering or related field) or equivalent, and eight or more years of related experience or additional experience in lieu of degree
  • Red Hat Linux Systems Administration (RHEL) experience
  • Familiarity with Linux servers; ability to implement organizational security standards on the Linux platform
  • Experience with Linux software configuration, installation and maintenance of COTS software
  • Knowledge of F5 and Data Power implementation and the configurations
  • Red Hat Satellite Server experience
  • Experience with implementing, supporting, and proactively monitoring complex systems environments
  • Provide on-call service as required
  • Knowledge of how to sign new SSL certificates and make sure they are active
  • Help outside client users configure certificates when needed
  • Troubleshoot connection problems with outside clients
  • Possess knowledge of tracking and analyzing performance and resource utilization of the assigned systems, and shall have experience in recommending changes, upgrades, and enhancements based on the technical analysis
  • Certifications in operating systems and other COTS products are desired
  • LDAP experience preferred
  • JBOSS experience preferred
  • Proficiency in scripting preferred
Security Requirements:

An Active Top Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one is required. An Active Top Secret is required to begin work
