SOCCENT Site Director (Job Number:417805)


Positions requires a technical background, business acumen and people- management skills. Because they direct the work of other employees, these individuals require strong interpersonal and communication abilities. Analytical thinking also is very important, as this position often involves problem resolution and process development. In addition, a strong customer service orientation is a must because information technology managers often serve as the final escalation point for high-visibility troubleshooting.


a. Analyzing workflow, delegating projects, and meeting departmental goals

b. Developing and monitoring performance standards

c. Providing input on hiring decisions for technical staff

d. Implementing and monitoring new projects

e. Managing the performance of and delegating projects to team members

f. Overseeing the consolidation of IT services

g. Executing project management processes and methodologies within project frameworks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, adhere to high quality standards, and meet customer expectations.

h. Articulating key critical path activities and understanding the technical requirements, dependencies, and trade-offs at varying levels of system design (e.g., logical and physical)



a. A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in an IT- related field,

b. 13+ years of relevant experience plus at least five years of experience with the specific types of business systems, hardware and networking services utilized by the Government is required.

c. Demonstrated leadership also is required.


a. PMP, or Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) professional certification is required.
