Assists Director in a business unit level functional operation or manager of a lower-level organization. Provides on-site management of security operations, as well as, customer liaison to ensure all government regulations are met. Responsible for the direction, training, mentoring and coordination of the activities of subordinate staff. Assists in planning, development, and implementation of organizational goals and objectives. Coordinates activities of the organization to improve the internal security operations of the company as well as assists in developing and analyzing operating budgets. Instrumental in developing policy and practices relating to the security clearance processing of new hires and existing employees obtaining an initial clearance. This individual is responsible for the development and oversight of the security for the business unit in regards to the areas of physical, personnel, and program security areas.
