Full Time Employee Contractor
The Security Analyst will be well-versed in security disciplines related to personnel. The selected individual must present a professional appearance, possess candor and be able to communicate effectively (both orally and written) with the Government Client and Contract Management. This position will also support administrative functions. The FSO will be responsible for the following day-to-day security procedures and processes.
This position will process clearances for members, as well as provide other support required to meet the security requirements of the Support Service contract. This position will assist the FSO to coordinate and perform security audits, liaison with the Government representative, and provide oversight in physical security and contract security management functions. He/She will also coordinate and conduct security training when required. Serve as Alternate FSO when required.
Ensure compliance with the National Industry Security Program (NISP).
Assist in Security inspections, tests, and/or reviews to ensure proper protection and/or corrective measures have been taken when an incident or vulnerability has been discovered.
Assist on-site and area personnel in initiating background investigation paperwork (including fingerprinting) using e-QIP software via the DoD JPAS database and customer centric clearance tracking mechanisms.
Provide initial security indoctrination briefings, debriefings, and annual refresher briefings.
Ensure the continued physical security integrity for the facility in general and secure work areas in particular.
Perform document control functions to include in/out processing of classified/sensitive material and prepare transmittal documents.
Perform visitor control functions to include processing of incoming and outgoing visit requests and verifying incoming visitor identification, issue appropriate identity badges.
Ensure all security controlled databases are maintained and kept up-to-date.
Support Development, and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
Conduct security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
Have at 1-3 years of prior FSO experience and/or general industrial security expertise; knowledge of NISPOM
Familiar with MS Windows applications; demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills as well as strong organizational and time management abilities.
1-3 years with Personnel Security Clearance Processing to include SCI; processing of DD254s, VALs; use of JPAS, e-QIP.
