Implement Configuration Management processes as described in MIL-HDBK-61B, for an Enterprise Content Management System. Automate as many CM processes as possible. Implement and maintain a CM plan. Enable automated Configuration Item Audits and reporting. Maintain and update change histories. Provide automated workflows for decision making support. Support a team of database developers to support data ingest and management.

Establishes database management systems, standards, requirements, guidelines and quality assurance for database deliverables, such as conceptual design and architecture, logical database, capacity planning, external data interface specification, data loading plan, data maintenance plan and security policy. Specific responsibilities of the Database Engineer include working with clients to translate business requirements into a logical model that will accurately support and represent the client¿s entity relationship and flow of data including: developing the appropriate database framework to convert the logical model into a physical model including the creation and maintenance of schemas containing windows, screens, tables and columns and reports that support the model; and making recommendations to maximize operating efficiency, support storage requirements and vendor software updates, enforce data governance, ensure recovery is maintained. Also, participates in quality assurance and develops test application code in client server environment. Limited use and/or application of technical principles, theories, and concepts. Receives assignments in the form of speciffic tasks for the work to be completed. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting objectives and schedules. PROBLEM COMPLEXITY: Develops solutions to routine technical problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. FREEDOM TO ACT: Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions. IMPACT: Contributes to completion of routine technical tasks. Failure to achieve results can normally be overcome without serious effect on schedules and programs LIASON: Contacts are primarily with immediate supervisor, project leaders, and other professionals in the group.



Bachelors and 0 years related experience..


Experience in Implementation Configuration Management processes a plus.

Experience in Enterprise Content Management System is a plus
