The Event Pricing Coordinator is an HOURLY corporate position responsible for entry of all promotions (circular, ISP, SYW, and SGPO) into an offer management system in a timely and accurate manner for the Grocery and Drug Business Unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitors the accuracy of all initial documentation to support all promotional advertising events for entry into the offer management system.
  • Enters offers into the offer management system with accuracy while adhering to the established timelines, including all appropriate items and market versions.
  • Performs weekly verification of promotional events that are ready to release to the stores to ensure that no issues exist in the download.
  • Assists in resolving discrepancies occurring at verification when scanned merchandise reveals inconsistencies.
  • Coordinates with category managers and marketing to ensure initial offers and any changes are reflected in offer management system appropriately.
  • Communicates changes, issues and and concerns to merchants, marketing and pricing.
  • Works in coordination with Marketing support systems to resolve issues.
  • Assists in resolution of POS, event pricing or signing issues identified by stores.
Requirements:
  • Able to communicate effectively with leadership.
  • May have to work occasional weekend for issue resolution.
  • HS Graduate or Equivalent
  • 1-2 Years
  • Highly organized with an impeccable skill to follow-through and follow-up
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; can balance multiple priorities
  • High focus on details to drive execution
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong PC skills, Windows-based programs, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Permanent Employment Authorization/U.S. Citizen
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills

Preferred:
Minimum of 1 - 2 years of experience preferred; experience in retail stores or as merchandise systems specialist a plus.
