AN/SQQ-89 On-Site Support (OSS) (Job Number:419044)
This position will provide U.S. Navy Combat Systems engineering and technical support and subject matter expertise to Mid Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) in support of An/SQQ-89 and MK 32 SVTT equipment stated below. Applicant will provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering technical services, and program/logistics support for AN/SQQ-89 and associated equipment/subsystems both ship/land based site installations, also provide technical assessment/inspection support, engineering technical services, and program/logistics support for MK 32 SVTT and associated equipment/subsystems both ship and land based site installations. Candidates shall provide reach-back to designated ISEA’s, OEM’s and other specialized capability holders for support when requested by the government.
REQUIRED GENERAL EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Candidate ONE: Mk 32 SVTT technician that must demonstrate:
A minimum of ten (10) years specialized experience with Surface Vessel Torpedo Tubes and associated equipment/subsystems. Prior NAVY TM/GM is a plus. Must be familiar with processes and procedures in relation with the SVTT RAC.
Candidate TWO: AN/SQQ89 AV/V15 Technician that must demonstrate:
A minimum of Ten (10) years troubleshooting, evaluating, repair and general experience with the AN/SQQ89 AV/V15 Sonar System, all variants and associated equipment. A minimum of four (4) years’ experience troubleshooting, evaluating, repair and general experience with AN/SQQ-34C (V)2 CV-TSC system and associated equipment. A minimum of three (3) years’ experience troubleshooting, evaluating, repair and general experience with USW-DSS (UYQ-100 and CANES variants). Prior Navy STG is a plus.
Candidate THREE: AN/SQQ89 AV/V15 Technician that must demonstrate:
A minimum of Ten (10) years troubleshooting, evaluating, repair and general experience with the AN/SQQ89 AV/V15 Sonar System, all variants and associated equipment. Must be able to access AN/SQQ89 AV/V15 system architecture, computer networking and Linux operating systems to locate and correct shipboard faults. Be extremely familiar with Linux operating systems. Understand INCO procedures for AN/SQQ89 AV/V15 all variants.
Candidate FOUR: A General Supply Specialist that must demonstrate:
A minimum of two (2) years familiarity with the Navy Supply ordering system to include researching NSN/Part Numbers and ordering said NSN/Part Numbers. Tracking ordered parts. Contacting venders for quotes on NSN/Part Numbers. Receiving parts from supply and inventorying received parts and issuing parts. Be familiar with One Touch system. Must be able to understand and interpret Engineering Drawings.
OTHER CERTIFICATIONS and QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
The candidates shall comply with any and all applicable NAVSEA Standard Items in the execution of this task order. Technical representatives on this task shall have and maintain a valid CPR Certification from a Nationally Accepted organization.

TRAVEL REQUIRED: Up to 25%
PASSPORT REQUIRED: A valid unexpired U.S. Passport is required.
