Java Developer (Job Number:419175)

Description:


As a member of the development team, you will:

- Review new requirements and develop designs and solutions to meet those requirements, and integrate applications with other applications
- Review enhancement requests and develop solutions to meet those requirements
- Actively participate in daily Scrums for the Agile development of the next generation of the case management system
- Write design documentation and automated tests
- Use industry standard best coding practices
- Resolve production issues impacting a national application serving the user community
- Interact daily with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders

Qualifications:


REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Bachelors; Preferred Masters

Required Experience and Skills:

- Years of Experience: 5+ Years;
- Professional Java development experience (at least 5 years).
- JEE Framework – at least 2 years - JPA (at least 2 years)
- Ability to create and consume Web services
- Java Server Faces (JSF) – at least 2 years

Desired Experience and Skills:

- JavaScript, CSS, HTML5
- Experience with any of the component libraries (such as PrimeFaces, RichFaces etc.)
- Java Application Server (JBoss Preferred – at least 2 years)
- PERL Web Application Development
- Experience with Junit for Unit Testing
- Maven
- Good communications skills - both written and verbal
- Agile development, Dev Ops
