Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Windows Systems Engineer/Administrator to join our team in the Herndon, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. The Systems Administrator will support multiple domains with 1000+ users load on each network.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Windows Engineer will support multiple domains with a 1000+ users load on each network
Provide user account management and account and group policy management
Perform installation and configuration of servers and software
Provide scripting, upgrade management, and Tier3 and 4 O&M troubleshooting
Provide user and file data management/migrations
Responsible for troubleshooting server network and system issues.
The candidate must show the ability to identify complex problems, document, and clearly articulate option of resolution to the customer
Provide engineering solutions for physical and virtual environments, with a goal to responsibly virtualize systems that are compatible for cloud environment services
Monitor existing infrastructure, identify and coordinate implementation changes to address problems or engineering changes with little to no impact to the end users
Bachelor's degree and four or more years of experience, or experinece in lieu of degree
Demonstration of Tier3 and Tier4 troubleshooting skills
Demonstrate expert experience with Server OS 2003, 2008R2, 2012R2
Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS and, DHCP
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and experience with cloud technologies VMware 4.5-S.x, Microsoft HyperV 2008 and 2012R2 (Microsoft Data Center Services a plus)
Microsoft SCCM 2007R2 - 2012R2
Microsoft SCOM 2007R2 - 2012R2
Microsoft Data Protection Manager (DPM) 2010 and up
Experience with scripting in PowerShell, VB, C#
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Candidate must be able to work on his or her own
Candidate must have the ability to adjust and learn new technologies, and adjust for the customer needs for a new requirement
Experience writing Enterprise level technical standards documentation and diagrams
Strong customer service skills
An active TS/SCI with favorable polygraph is required.
