The Implementation Planner

shall support the Planning Manager:

·

Developing and maintaining:

o

A detailed Implementation Plan

o

Integrated ESN Implementation Plan;

tracking and reporting progress of implementation;

·

working with the Authority, and the Other ESN Suppliers and the Related ESN Projects to resolve inconsistencies between the Detailed ESN Implementation Plans, the Transition Plans, and the overall plans of other related projects including the Mobile Infrastructure Project, Network Rail and London Underground 4G rollout projects.

·

in the maintenance and update of

the Integrated ESN Implementation Plan to ensure that the Integrated ESN Implementation Plan reflects changes to and is consistent with above plans

and the Transition Plans.

·

in the provision of updated versions of the Integrated ESN Implementation Plan on a monthly basis within 5 Working Days of the end of each month.

·

in the use of

the Integrated ESN Implementation Plan to track the progress of implementation by the Other ESN Suppliers and the Related ESN Projects and the overall plans of other related projects including the Mobile Infrastructure Project, Network Rail and London Underground 4G rollout projects.

·

to develop a template to be populated by each of the Other ESN Suppliers and the Related ESN Projects which will form the ESN Supplier Implementation Progress Reports.

·

in the

development and maintenance of

the National Transition Plan; and Group Transition Plans.

Qualifications:

Experienced Planner (senior consultant/consultant grade) with a track record of

holding a senior planning role on other equivalent major complex programmes to ESMCP.

Proven ability to assimilate planning information from a variety of sources, understand the impact/implications of mis-alignments and discrepancies and propose actions.

Proven ability to collaborate with planning teams of adjacent programmes which impact on this ESMCP to achieve optimal time, cost, performance goals.

Good client facing skills with the confidence to deal with people at all levels

Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team

Expert level of competence with Primavera P6 and other planning tools. Knowledge of Primavera Risk Analysis

Good verbal and written communication skills including report writing and presentation skills
