Position Description
CGI is looking for a Network Systems Administrator to support the Workstation, Mobile, and Service Desk Task Order for a government client. Your future duties and responsibilities
Review computer systems in terms of machine capabilities and man-machine interface. Prepare reports and studies concerning hardware. Prepare functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions. Ensure that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user's requirements. Assists in the installation, implementation, and upgrades of internal systems. May maintain a tracking system for usage evaluation. Maintains an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software and supplies. Performs the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computer and mobile telecommunications related systems. Assists in determining suitable software to meet user requirements. Troubleshoots software and hardware failures and identifies network problems when they relate to personal (desktop or laptop) computers. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
3 years of recent relevant experience
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science or related field (experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)
A+ Certification strongly preferred
