Position Description
Join the CGI Federal team! CGI Federal is looking for a Technical Task Lead to support operations at our Albany, GA location. Alternately, this position may be staffed in Manassas, VA. Your future duties and responsibilities
Responsibilities will include requirements definition, requirements analysis, design development, system testing, operational systems support.
Supervises or directly manages and coordinates project through all phases of the systems development life cycle, including planning, requirements analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and evaluation. Responsible for conducting the project in a timely manner, ensuring the quality of work products, maintaining financial soundness of the project, managing interactions, and reporting progress and issues. Ensures conformance with work standards; interprets policies, procedures, and goals and objectives of the organization. Coordinates work effort with all parties. Reviews work products for quality, completeness, and adherence to design concepts and user requirements. Has significant expertise in managing systems projects. Responsible for client liaison.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
? A Bachelor's Degree AND at least 3 years' directly related experience are required for this role. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree requirement.
? Self-directed and able to work well independently
? Attention to detail, and strong communication, negotiation, client facing and client relationship building skills
? Excellent oral, written and documentation skills
? Experience mentoring and directing activities of less experienced team members
? Ability to lead discussions and facilitate meetings with the customer and senior leadership
? Advanced Experience with Microsoft Office Tools such as Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, and Project
? Strong problem solving and resolution skills.
? Adaptability to fast paced, evolving environment
? An Interim Secret or higher clearance is required in order to begin work. Continued eligibility is contingent on ability to receive final Secret clearance.
? Possession of a US government Secret security clearance is required to begin employment.
? Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

Desired qualifications:

? Familiarity with Software and Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
? CMMI Level 3 and Lean Six Sigma Best Practices
? Project Management Professional (PMP)
