About the Position:
Reporting to the Global Leadership & Capability Manager you will manage discreet projects from across the Global OD spectrum. This means you will also be expected to travel between the UK and US to execute activities aligned to specific global projects / attend team workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Work closely with the Leadership Development specialists to design, develop, pilot and review leadership development interventions. Take responsibility for the effective planning and co-ordination of learning interventions relevant to your project, escalate issues to the Global Leadership & Capability Manager / Regional Academy Managers.
·Occasional facilitation of workshops, conference sessions & HR / business briefings
·Support the Leadership Development Specialists in the provision of consultancy support to regional HR teams / Business stakeholders in relation to specific Global OD projects.
·Must demonstrate a sound knowledge of Academy development interventions, scheduling and quality processes, to enable cost effective, customer focused recommendations / solutions as well as Talent, OE, Change, SWFP frameworks, toolkits and processes.
·Must be able to leverage key external networks to enable the team to keep abreast of external best practice, collation of benchmarking metrics and making continual improvement recommendations to the Global OD leadership team
·Account management of external vendors and management of tendering processes prioritizing our global Managed Service Provider to design, develop, source and evaluate OD solutions in order to continuously improve customer engagement, efficiency and return on investment (ROI)
·Global OD team – support the management of the budget and evaluate fully the return on investment of key programs and projects.
·Lead on specific assigned external partnerships e.g. Bersin
·Management of Talent, SWFP, OE projects as agreed between the respective manager and the Global Leadership & Capability Manager
·Work with the Global Leadership & Capabilities Manager in the ongoing review and development of National Grid’s core capabilities, business skills and the evolution of our Leadership Qualities and behaviors
·Communications Team interface to ensure customer focused communications, solutions and Global OD intranet site
