NCI: As a Cyber Watch Operations Certified Analyst – Senior ( Information Security Analyst ), you will provide services for the U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) and All Army networks, Non-classified Internet Protocol (IP) Router Network (NIPRNet) and Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet). You will provide operational and technical system administration services required to support the Army Enterprise and All Army Network capabilities. The Army Enterprise Management of Worldwide network capabilities allows information traversing Department of Defense (DoD) networks to be continuously monitored to ensure response time as well as throughput and performance standards. The Army Enterprise includes fail-over, diversity, and elimination of critical failure points as a means to assure timely delivery of critical information. The Army Enterprise Management of Worldwide network capabilities consists of a suite of equipment that performs firewall functions, intrusion detection and prevention, enterprise management, virtual routing and forwarding (VRF), and provides a host of network security capabilities. The Army’s goal is operationalize the Enterprise capabilities at CONUS and OCONUS locations over the next two years. The Army Enterprise continues to be configured in phases to minimize the stress on the current network infrastructure. In assuming this position, you will be a critical contributor to meeting NCI's mission: To deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions and services that enable our customers to rapidly adapt to dynamic environments. This position is located in Fort Huachuca, Arizona; relocation assistance, while not guaranteed, may be available.



Highlights of Responsibilities:

Site Lead for the Army Enterprise Management of Worldwide Operational Support Services team
IA expert with a vast experience in C&A and CND
System engineering and analysis supporting the implementation of enterprise systems security environment across the Army
Development of Army enterprise systems architecture design, test, implementation, and maintenance
Conduct and document security risk threat assessments and prepare recommendations for implementing countermeasures
Develop, review, and execute documents: IS design plans; COOP plans; comm-plans; engineering change proposals; configuration changes in compliance with existing relevant security regulations and Army best business practices
Develop, review, and execute security tests and evaluation plans
Prepare documentation for, RMF accreditation. This includes certification procedures, criteria, certification evaluation reports, and reports of findings
Conduct testing for the integration of proposed new technologies to be included in the enterprise design. Research and analyze current DoD and DA policies and recommend mitigation strategies
Provide support in the development of operational ETP
Operations, management and administration to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information assets and technology infrastructures of the organization
Perform threat, vulnerability, security audits and risk assessments
Develop security awareness instructional material
Coordinates the handling and resolution of incidents of security breach
Day-to-day operations and maintenance of computer facilities and IT resources including network support, server support, desk top support, and telecommunications services
Provides analytical and technical security recommendations to other team members and working groups
Documents requirements, based upon need or as the result of a security issue that puts organizations systems at risk
Meet with engineers and management to help specify and negotiate application security requirements, reviews current policies and procedures for applicability, and system OS security patch levels, and ensures safe transition of applications to production
Serve as an active member in technical workgroups to recommend effective security configurations and architecture
Liaison to the Enterprise Architect, WAN, LAN, and Enterprise Management Teams to effectively communicate and architect security solutions
Provide risk analysis for vulnerabilities, incidents


Requirements:

Current Active Top Secret/SCI (SSBI) Security Clearance and/or the ability to obtain one. (IAW AR 25-2, position is considered IT Level I; requires Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).)
BS degree in Information Technology or related IT degree.
Minimum ten (10) years of related experience.
IAW DoD 8570.01-M shall be IAT level III certified (CISA, GCIH, GCED, CISSP or associate, CASP).
Computing Environment (CE) certification shall be; MCSE; OR CCNA/CCNP or equivalent; OR VMWare ESX 5/6.x or ESXi 5/6.x.


Preferred Education and Experience:

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
VMWare VCP 5 or 6
