At level III Electronics Technical Specialist is responsible for interfacing with customer to ensure Pre Installation Test and Checkouts (PITCOs) meet their specifications and providing advanced level technical support. As well as ensure PITCOs are built from design plans and in accordance to statements of work.

This position requires a minimum Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
º Conducting in depth research and evaluating the research of Technical Specialists in order to evaluate existing and future systems.
º Developing and maintaining system recommendations matrices.
º Maintaining archive of PITCO Systems (Images).
º Maintaining FTP site for updates, documentations, ect.
º Performing and managing PITCO.
º Performing final programming of systems.
º Providing on site system support post deployment.
º Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
º Understanding SOP and SOW documentation.
º Ensuring test lab equipment is maintained.
º Maintaining inventory of department equipment is maintained.
º Maintaining inventory of department equipment.
º Maintaining documentation for work performed as support role.
º Assigning Technical Specialist to specific projects.
º Assisting with annual performance evaluations.
º Ensuring availability of remote Pitco and remote access.
º Programming and integrating an entire system at the global level.
º Using advanced knowledge of networking principals and system administration skills to troubleshoot systems and operating systems.
º Interfacing with engineering team to ensure design efficiency.
º Interfacing with internal and external customers at the PITCO facility and in the field.
º Providing advanced level database support.
º Conducting research and development of entire systems and analyzing all interoperability and constructability scenarios.
º Delegating tasks and providing support to level I and II Electronics Technical Specialists.
º Using 60% or 90% designs to develop and build out PITCO.
º Reading blue prints, schematics and sstatements of work (SOW).
º Ensuring PITCO build outs adher to statments of work (SOW).
º Coordinating with field personnel and/or engineering team to discuss any potential installation issues.
º Ensuring engineering team signs off onall redlines.
º Attending engineering meetings as required.
º Answering support calls to help field personnel with any installation issues encountered on the job site.
º Documenting support calls in the internal support systems (IMMS); ensuring all tickets are addressed and closed.
º Interfacing with project manager, field supervisors and vendors/manufacturers.
º Conducting research and development on new system manufacturers (i.e. access control, intrusion detection and closed circuit television systems).
º Documenting system functionality and configuration data matrices.
º Monitoring and backing up databases.
º Maintaining remote technical support access.
º Ensuring IMMS tickets are closed and addressed.
º Ensuring the lab is maintained in a professional and presentable manner.Vendor Specific Training (i.e. Intrusion Detection, CCTV or Access Control Systems).
