Aircraft Mechanical Engineering Technician / CADD Specialist

Position Description
US Citizenship is required.

Position Summary:
Individual will be assigned to accomplish aeronautical/mechanical engineering and analysis support for the AV-8, C-130, H-1, H-46, H-53, H-60, V-22 and the various engines, components and support systems associated with these located at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, NC. Specific tasks will include source data development, static and fatigue analysis, part design, material selection, and aircraft repair development. Individual should have a good basic understanding of aircraft design principles and practices. Support formal design reviews and presentations to customers. In addition, candidate must meet appropriate security requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
* Experience with AutoCad, NX, and/or Solid Edge
* Experience with aircraft structural design and analysis.
* Experience with electro-mechanical systems design.
* Ability to write clear, concise, factual and detailed documentation.

Additional Requirement:
Must be able to lift 40 pounds.

Desired Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
* Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology highly desired.
* Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience in Navy/Marine Corps aviation Logistics Systems extremely helpful.

Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience. Your future duties and responsibilities
