ManTech is seeking a scientist or engineer to provide Scientific, Engineering, and Technical Assistance (SETA) to various government customers.
Provide spacecraft/systems development and systems engineering expertise to our government customer.
Determine design performance parameters of spacecraft, payload, and system integration requirements.
Assess ground and flight test characteristics.
Identify risks and coordinate mitigation plans and approaches.
Support and coordinate milestone and executive reviews.
Coordinate meetings, teleconferences, and travel.
Provide inputs to the program manager in response to all calls for information regarding program activity, including weekly activity reports, information requests, and Congressional inquiries.
Ensure program security compliance including classified, proprietary, ITAR restricted, and source selection sensitive material.
Tailor briefing materials for specific audiences, and coordinate and support briefings at internal and external venues.
The candidate must have, at minimum, a BS Degree; MS degree strongly desired, with a focus in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Systems Engineering preferred.
2 to 4 years of previous industry, government, and/or substantial graduate research experience with 2-4 directly relating to space. Experience with the development of large military systems, processes / systems development, in exchange for direct spacecraft systems development will be considered.
