Network Engineer - Azure

Position Description
CGI Federal, a wholly owned subsidiary of CGI, has an opening for a Network Engineer. Initially, this role will support migration of current Network Systems to the Cloud solution, Azure. Thereafter, this role will provide ongoing support and enhancements as indicated. Specifically, the responsibilities will include the following:
- analyze current network activity and issues recommend network design changes/enhancements to improve performance and reliability
- develop/improve Disaster Recovery and ensure planned testing activities are performed and technical criteria are consistently met
- plans and monitor the installation of Network system within Azure
- analyzes facilities? bandwidth requirements and system interdependencies and develop capacity planning models
To be considered for this challenging role, applicants must have a majority of the following skills, knowledge and abilities:
- expertise with Cisco IOS with hands-on experience configuring Cisco routers, switches and firewalls, including Juniper and Palo Alto
- possess strong knowledge of Network implementation
- in-depth knowledge of commercial Enterprise System monitoring and management tools such as SCOM, What?s Up Gold, Wireshark, VPN and Yubikey
- prefer bachelor degree in information systems or related field Your future duties and responsibilities
