ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to join our team in the Arlington, VA area to provide support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. The selected candidate will ensure that cyber security requirements are effectively integrated into information systems through purposeful security architecting, design, development, and configuration.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Define, plan, design, and evaluate information security systems with the following:
•Provide solutions for and implement Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls
•Design and implement privileged user tiered administration
•Perform requirements analysis, design, and integration for complex software applications and collaboration infrastructures
•Conduct certification testing and reporting in accordance with the RMF and NIST 800-53; identifies deficiencies (POA&M) and provides recommendations for solutions
•Participate in the change management process, and assess security impact of proposed changes
•Write implementation and design documents describing how security features are implemented

Position Requirements:

•Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in the fields of mathematics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science and 7-9 years related experience; or Master’s degree with 7-9 years of experience
•Requires significant technical knowledge in security engineering and IT systems engineering
•Must possess excellent analytical skills and be capable of quantifying risk to enterprise systems and level of compliance with security policy
•Experience with modern Microsoft, Cisco and VMware technologies
•Strong IT system engineering background with experience in Windows 7, Windows Server 2008/2012 R2, Active Directory Group Policy, Cisco networking, and VMware vSphere
•Experience with certification testing, RMF, information assurance tools, DoD STIG, and vulnerability assessment
•DoD 8140 certification (IAT Level II, IAM level II or IASAE Level II)
