Job Summary: Applicant will ensure that the items and services purchased meets needs of the Customer and goods are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions as outlined in a contract. An important aspect of this role is seeking maximum value for the customer through time and cost agreements while working with technology advanced products.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:
Creates purchase orders manages approval process in appropriate databases until tickets are closed
Tracks order acknowledgements, confirms system lead times, delivery dates, costs, and prepares and communicates shortages and backlog reports
Develop, technically assess and update project deliverables and documentation, including contract deliverables
Negotiate special pricing incentives and agreements with suppliers
Have a good understanding of hardware and software equipment to be purchased
Quality assurance for items order; conduct initial testing on some deliverables
Resolve vendor grievances and claims against suppliers
Utilize and manage internal buyers? software and systems
Liaison with other departments, particularly Operations and Accounting; provide updates between PM and Deputy PM
Perform duties in an independent manner with little or no need for direct supervision
Ensures orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; reports non-conformances or potential interruptions to the PM
Leads finance in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies
Arranges deliveries and pickups
Resolutions on returns
Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies
