Job Summary: Applicant will ensure that the items and services purchased meets needs of the Customer and goods are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions as outlined in a contract. An important aspect of this role is seeking maximum value for the customer through time and cost agreements while working with technology advanced products.

Responsibilities and Duties Include:
· Creates purchase orders manages approval process in appropriate databases until tickets are closed
· Tracks order acknowledgements, confirms system lead times, delivery dates, costs, and prepares and communicates shortages and backlog reports
· Develop, technically assess and update project deliverables and documentation, including contract deliverables
· Negotiate special pricing incentives and agreements with suppliers
· Have a good understanding of hardware and software equipment to be purchased
· Quality assurance for items order; conduct initial testing on some deliverables
· Resolve vendor grievances and claims against suppliers
· Utilize and manage internal buyers’ software and systems
· Liaison with other departments, particularly Operations and Accounting; provide updates between PM and Deputy PM
· Perform duties in an independent manner with little or no need for direct supervision
· Ensures orders adhere to supplier agreements and contracts; reports non-conformances or potential interruptions to the PM
· Leads finance in resolving reception and invoice discrepancies
· Arranges deliveries and pickups
· Resolutions on returns
· Identifies opportunities and implements actions to achieve efficiencies
