Description

About the position:

The Digital Risk and Security (DR&S) team has been established in National Grid to ensure the identification and management of digital and privacy risks. As part of a large-scale, three-year Cyber Security program an Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution has been implemented across the National Grid estate. DR&S are now seeking to establish an IAM Operational Support team to support National Grid business units in their use of IAM services.

Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
IAM Operational Support team to meet IAM objectives
Developing and maintaining short-, medium- and long-term plans to support National Grid’s IAM strategy
Planning and scheduling IAM operations and access review campaigns across National Grid business units
Management and reporting of IAM Service Levels to ensure adequate business support is in place
Providing operational support for the IAM solution
Maintaining formal processes for technical and support communications with wider Information Systems support teams within National Grid
The IAM Operational Support Analyst will also be responsible for liaison and communication with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including:
Business users of the OIA/IAM systems
National Grid Program Management, Compliance, Audit & Control, and Service/Helpdesk teams, Third-party support vendors
Internal Identity Data and Source Data providers
Network and application system administrators


Qualifications
Knowledge & Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Strong technical knowledge of IAM tools and processes, including: Identity and Access Management, Director / Meta-directory services, Single Sign-On (SSO), Web Access Management, Federated Authentication / SAML, User Lifecycle
Industry-Standard IAM Tools: Oracle Identity Manager (OIM), Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Unified Directory (OUD), Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD), Oracle HTTP Server (OHS), Oracle Database
Infrastructure Expertise: Windows Server, Unix/Linux, Web/TCPIP
Application Server Expertise: Web Logic, Oracle Application Server, JBoss
Consulting experience and the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of management and organization structures
Project Management skills, including the ability to create scope documents, project plans, and budgets
Test Management skills, including the ability to create test plans and test cases
Experience of working in complex project/program environments
Experience of working collaboratively with technical teams to deliver effective client outcomes
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
‘Can do’ attitude and ability to operate in large, multinational company
Excellent standards of documentation with a high level of expertise in service management reporting and strategic planning
Excellent oral and written communication ability, with presentation, work-shop facilitation and stakeholder management skills
