Job Description:

The Systems Engineer will be experienced in applying systems engineering processes, methods and tools over an entire project/product lifecycle. Specific areas of responsibility include: system design, requirements management, requirements engineering and analysis, technical reviews, technical meetings, trade studies, requirements verifications, risk management and concept of operations ensuring successful execution of systems engineering processes and program’s technical execution are being accomplished. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, collaborate among other systems engineering efforts on complex projects/products, and the ability to successfully execute several systems engineering activities simultaneously

Duties and Responsibilities:

Performs development, requirements decomposition, deconflicts requirements when necessary

-
Work with business representatives, technical team, and end users to produce quality documentation and training materials

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

-
Bachelor’s degree

-
Minimum 9 years of experience

-
Experience in applying systems engineering applications and processes to complex project/product solutions; integrating systems engineering processes across a technology development cycle

Required Qualifications:

-
Demonstrated ability to work with multi-discipline engineering groups

-
Must be able to multitask with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.

-
Possesses strong analytical skills and have good interpersonal and communications skills in dealing with multiple contractor and government organizations

-
Ability to simplify technical concepts, information or processes in written form that is comprehensible to a wide audience of readers

-
Ability to understand and build documentations according to how the audience will utilize the materials

-
Ability to understand design specifications, system models and diagrams, and resourcefully learn the product software application with minimal guidance and supervision

-
Strong computer skills, with experience in using various word processing, graphics, image capturing and editing, and presentation tools such as MS Word, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Visio.

Strong writing skills, with the ability to write properly-constructed and grammatically correct sentences, use punctuation effectively, and proofread the document thoroughly for errors

-
Strong research skills to seek out the information needed to complete the assigned project

-
Strong organizational skills to identify essential information and decide where it should be included

Desired Qualifications:

Strong systems engineering knowledge of military systems

-
3 years’ experience in vehicle or automotive related engineering discipline

-
Self-motivated with an ability to motivate others to accomplish tasks in a timely manner

-
Experience with Microsoft Office products.

-
Experience working with DOD contracts

-
Experience with Army Intelligence Systems and processes.

-
Experience in Military

-
Experience operating in a Combat Environment

-
Familiar with multiple operating systems to include Solaris, Linux, and Windows

-
Familiar with data basing technologies such as SQL, MySQL, PostGRES, PostGIS

Clearance Requirement:

-
Must currently possess a TS/SCI and be able to obtain a TS SCI w/ CI Poly
