Deputy Project Manager
CGI Federal has been delivering mission-essential results to the DOD since 1976. We are searching for a Deputy PM that will also coordinate production control to work out of Hohenfels, Germany.
? Attend, participate in, and furnish input to scheduled and unscheduled meetings, conferences, and briefings that relate to the functions and services herein as required by the Government to provide effective communication and impart necessary information.
? Conducts Production Control for and assists in management of US Army maintenance management,, supply asset management and production control procedures operations.
? Extensive knowledge of ).Global Combat Support System ? Army (GCSS-A)).
? Identifying potential contract vulnerabilities as a part of the Program Risk Analysis process.
? Assist with business development.
? Responsible for the site?s Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC).
? Utilize in depth expert knowledge of supply program relationships, concepts, and methodologies pertaining to supply/property book accountability and supply areas of logistics operations.
? The Deputy Project Manager must be available for
telephone communication or site attendance, with the COR, as required by the COR, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
? The work to be performed under this contract will primarily be performed at Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels, Germany but travel may be required to support exercises throughout the EUCOM,
AFRICOM and CENTCOM Areas of responsibility.
? Monitors production for compliance with scheduling directives and standards driven by sustainment maintenance and contingency maintenance missions as required by the government.
? Responsible for production control and management of maintenance scheduling.
? Other assignments as required.
? Ability to work independently with only minimal guidance and supervision.
? Ability to work in harmony with others.
? Intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
? Ability to prioritize workload and possess excellent organizational skills.
? Attention to detail and organized work habits.
? Ability to manage multi-faceted operations under high OPTEMPO conditions.
? Ability to manage multiple teams across multiple locations.
? Ability to adapt to changes in support scheduling based on training rotational requirements
? Ability to successfully complete the CGI Federal Background Investigation to include;
? Criminal, Education, Employment, Credit and Driving Records Checks for continued employment.
? US CitizenshipEducation and Experience
A minimum of five (5) years of experience US Army Maintenance, Supply and Property Accountability operations one (1) year experience and understanding of a functional production planning and production control. Bachelor?s degree preferred.
