Programmer Analyst - CUBS

Position Description
CGI is executing a multi-year engagement with a key client to replace the clients? legacy system (Columbia Ultimate CUBS) with CGI's ADVANTAGE Collections system. The team is looking for an experienced CUBS Portal Web development expert.

Responsibilities will include providing production support and troubleshooting assistance directly to the client along with supporting the CGI implementation with planning and executing data conversion from the legacy CUBS system to ADVANTAGE Collections. Will work on the development and be engaged throughout the complete application development life cycle from business and functional requirements through technical specifications and design, development, testing, implementation and support. Your future duties and responsibilities
Requires experience doing CUBS configuration and deep understanding of CUBS functionality and Data Model. You will be engaged with business and application requirements related to architecture, continuous integration, build, infrastructure and load testing teams. Will participate in development and code review and will work with network engineers, and information security teams as required. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
This developer should be a motivated, self-starter who works well as part of a team, yet is able to complete tasks independently. Needs to be comfortable owning development tasks and working with other developers. Excellent documentation and written/oral skills are necessary.

Required Qualifications
3+ years of web development experience; including programming and developing web applications, Object Oriented, HTML, XML (Extensible Markup Language), and JavaScript development experience
Desired Qualifications
A BS/BA degree or higher in science or technology
Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
Knowledge and understanding of technology production support: installation environments utilizing three tiered architecture including web servers, app servers and database servers
Knowledge and understanding of test driven application development
Excellent verbal, written, and documentation skills
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Expertise in full life-cycle development projects.
Strong knowledge of web application development and Java frameworks and standards and strong knowledge of Java development tools
