Full Time Employee Contractor
The WSU Coordinator (WSUC) will provide support & maintain all audio visual and voice equipment that is required by the program office. The (WSUC) will also need knowledge of network configuration & administration for a 24/7 enterprise network operation. This includes designing, configuring & troubleshooting network switches, routers, firewalls and segments for multiple separate networks. The (WSUC) should be comfortable supporting VPN and SSL tunnels for internal network and internet applications. The qualified professional should possess all necessary troubleshooting & problem solving skills pertinent for a network configuration engineer as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills. The (WSUC) supports the Project Management Information System (PMIS) in the Office of Program Management- Ministry of Interior (OPM-MOI), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Activities will be headquartered in Rosslyn, VA and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities include the ability to install, operate, & maintain equipment to include but not limited to : Projectors, Microphones, Audio visual capability, Teleconferencing equipment & phone conferencing equipment, Video conferencing, Mobile telephone services equipment & management, Telephone switch & telephone instruments, Satellite and cable TV services, TVs & related equipment, Handheld radio services, Procurement & management of local PDAs capable of handling email accounts from the program network. Working directly with the Riyadh techs to perform networking & HW & SW to the connection points. Perform any other tasks related to an IT network infrastructure environment. Work also includes delivery of content across multiple platforms and devices, some possible train-the-trainer on use of content management systems & end-user reporting & monitoring, managing site & channel performance issues, & acting as liaison between the project & other vendor companies.
Works with OPM-MOI leadership, US and KSA team members, & committees to ensure compliance to design, software, security, & governance & taxonomy standards as related to the program
Manages program sites on a daily basis
Updates to OPM-MOI leadership through the Deputy for Management or his representative
Configures & maintains new and existing sites
Evaluates new & existing products to address customer needs and develops recommendations when appropriate
The (WSUC) performs the following:
Network Administration to provide network configuration & administration for a 24/7 enterprise network operation. This includes designing, configuring & troubleshooting network switches, routers, firewalls & segments for multiple networks. The (WSUC) should be comfortable supporting VPN and SSL tunnels for internal network & internet facing applications. Qualified candidates should possess all necessary troubleshooting & problem solving skills pertinent for a network configuration engineer. Keeps abreast of new products & trends in the IRM field and in the Department and explores the applicability of these trends to the Program’s needs. Provides information, staff support & analysis on automation issues such as whether & what functions to automate, automation priorities, cost/benefit tradeoffs, & off-the-shelf vs. custom solutions. Participates in developing alternatives, recommendations, & preliminary implementation of plans for automation planning & systems design decisions. Develops recommendations & documentation on purchases of hardware & software. Assists in designing, planning, & implementing installation of hardware and software, including local area networks & connectivity to wide area networks. Plans & implements system support including LAN administration, & trains users in use of systems. Performs analytical work on integration of the bureau's systems & capabilities with Departmental & interagency systems, as needed, promoting optimum & Program use of these systems. Install & operate multimedia equipment, such as video, TV, audio, & projectors which integrate with Microsoft Lync telephony & conferencing. Monitors & controls, as assigned, system security for systems and their interfaces with Departmental systems. The infrastructure includes the components considered to be a part of the technical architecture, including, but not limited to, the following: LAN components & devices; WAN components & devices; Network operating systems, network protocols, LAN file & print server components & devices; Application server components & devices, operating systems, interfaces, system management software & COTS applications; Management & user-support of all technology equipment including data, video, voice, audio- visual, & imaging equipment Promotes the goals and objectives of the Department, OPM-MOI & NEA through contact with current and potential U.S. LAN components & devices, WAN components & devices. Network operating systems, network protocols, LAN file and print server components & devices. Application server components & devices, operating systems, interfaces, system management software and COTS applications. Management & user-support of all technology equipment including data, video, voice, audio-visual, & imaging equipment. Knowledge & experience configuring & administering network services such as Microsoft Active Directory & Group Policy, DNS, & DHCP management & implementation Must have experience designing, installing, monitoring & supporting enterprise class networks to include routers, switches, encryptors & firewalls.
Minimum 4 years Windows Server/Active Directory Administration
Experience leading a NOC team; Troubleshooting & problem solving skills; Network Operations

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in C.S., Engineering or a related technical field, degree and 4 years of experience or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work/military experience with 8 years of experience. Active Secret Clearance required.
Desired Certs: CCNA, Security+, Network+ and OOP/COG.
