Job Summary: The Claims Customer Service Representative I is responsible for researching and processing claims for contractors and District Contractor Manager through inbound and outbound calls. The Sales Customer Service Representative I is responsible for contacting and assisting customers calling requesting services, as well as providing resolution to inquiries and complains in an expedient, professional and courteous manner. This position has responsibility for receiving and handling, selling, ringing orders and arranging for services requested through a network of certified contractors. Job Duties/Responsibilities: • Provides thorough, reliable and timely assistance via phone and email to providers and internal customers to provide resolution • Logs into phone system to take incoming calls from service providers, field Managers and other departments relating to claims • May provide resolution to inquires or complaints from external customers in regard to recent installation purchase • May ring inbound sales and/or refunds for customers • Solves problems and provides resolution to claim issues • Ensures service providers are able to complete service fulfillment • Issues manual payment and authorizes contractor billing overrides • Processes Change of Specification for work done outside of what has already been charged in the installation payment • Assists in the implementation of special projects and programs • Adheres to business processes and guidelines for customer order assignment • Performs other duties as assigned
