•Manage and administer WHINSEC network for Mission Command Training
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Maintain, sustain, configure, manage and administer WHINSEC closed network for the Mission Command Training
•Install all hardware components to include (by not limited to): servers, CPoF computers, configure the network, Foundry switches and hubs for CPoF, Mil Gaming links, Decisive Action (DA), Division eXercise Training and Readiness System (DXTRS), or any other POI supporting simulation software.
•Install, configure and maintain the server operating system as well as the MS Exchange and MS SQL software and the Battle Command Common Services (BCCS). The MS Exchange, MS SQL and the BCCS software shall be configured and integrated into the CPoF system.
•Perform the programs of instruction for CPoF training loads (or similar software) as scheduled in the WHINSEC CGSOC POI.
•Assist and, or train cadre and students with CPoF, and other simulation products provided by the Government.
•Perform network systems administration and management of the servers and classroom digital training network, to include (but not limited to): performing routine backups of CPoF servers and maintaining additional, ready-to-run removable hard drives for the CPoF client computers.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Must have CompTIA Security+ certification
•Must have MCTS 70-680 certification
•Must have MCTS 70-640 certification
•Must have CPOF certification
•Must have Tactical Battle Command Battle Staff Operations Course (40hrs) and have completed the Tactical Battle Command System Administrator Course (80hrs) or equivalent certification in an approved user and administrator CPoF course Training Support Packages (TSPs).
