Application Engineer (Active Secret Clearance)
Develop Enterprise Java Beans and similar software packages to facilitate the interchange of Electronic Health Records between government agencies.
Analyze and study complex system requirements.
Design software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation.
Manage software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques, and source code quality (SCQC) tools.
Estimate software development costs and schedule.
Review existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques.
Supervise software configuration management.
7-10 years in software development, including 3 years in a lead role
Proficiency with Java EE, JBoss EAP, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, WS Frameworks, SOAP, REST, Oracle DB, GlassFish, WebSphere
Ability to work on and off client site, as needed, between Rosslyn VA and Reston VA
Must hold an Active Secret Clearance
