Position Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Strategic Staffing team at First Citizens Bank. In this newly created role, reporting to the Head of Strategic Staffing, you will have the opportunity to engage, manage, and execute the recruiting process from end to end for senior, and executive level roles across the First Citizens Bank enterprise. In this exciting new role, you will have the accountability to drive the following:

-Position specification and profile development
-Search strategy development and execution
-Candidate screening, evaluation, and formal presentation
-Interview and selection process management
-Offer development communication and closure.

Success will in large part be driven by your ability to build internal relationships with senior management, combined with leveraging your external network and relationships to identify, attract, and select management talent for the company.

Position Requirements

Key Duties:

Develop and execute recruitment strategies to successfully identify, evaluate, and select internal and external talent for senior and executive level opportunities.

Proactively build relationships with internal FCB leadership and external resources and individuals to ensure a senior level pipeline of talent is cultivated.

Ongoing evaluation and enhancement to the selection process for senior level jobs.

Manage the process for senior level exploratory or executive referral discussions.


Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Proven ability to build internal and external relationships

Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize due to changing business needs

Organizational understanding and savvy

Ability to understand the business and assess talent needs quickly

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 10 years recruiting experience, with 4 years working with senior or executive level talent.
High School Diploma or GED with 16 years recruiting experience, with 7 years working with senior or executive level talent.
