JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Entry Level Design Engineering position for the Security & Electronic Systems (SES) division:
Provides turnkey Electronic Security Systems (ESS) solutions, specializing in a wide array of services and systems
Includes conceptualization, planning, design, integration and implementation, as well as acceptance testing and follow-on support for; intrusion detection, access control systems, and closed-circuit television systems, through certification and accreditation
Routinely designs, installs, and maintains Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) electronic security systems
0-2 years of experience in construction / engineering with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Construction Management, Computer Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Fire / Life Safety Engineering
A grade point average of 3.0 or above
Applicant must have hands on experience with Proximex Surveillint PSIM.
Familiar with the following programs is a must: MS Office Suite, MS SharePoint, AutoCAD (or similar program), Bluebeam
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment
The ability to communicate effectively
Willingness to travel to various project sites (if applicable)
Previous experience within the Construction Industry
Previous experience with Design Build
Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED)
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Six Sigma Yellow Belt
National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)
Design Build Institute of America (DBIA)
Preferred Software Skills
Calculation Software - AGI32, ETAP, SKM
Engineering Document Management System (EDMS)
Infrastructure Maintenance Management System (IMMS)
Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) systems
WPF, WCF, Autodesk APIs
Bug-tracking experience (TFS, Jira, Mantis or similar)
