Planner / Scheduler

Location: Baytown Texas

Position Description:

Ensures the development and completion of job progress milestones through maintenance job planning and scheduling. Coordinates with procurement and material mangers as well as maintenance work group leads pertaining to essential. items of supply. Provides input for prioritization of work orders to ensure efficient completion. Develops maintenance job plans according to industry best practices. Contributes to forecasts and disbursements by performing schedule analysis. Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop processes to streamline maintenance work execution. May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members. Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of



to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy.



Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma (undergraduate degree desirable)
