Support the Bank's growth and profitability goals through consumer acquisition and retention activities. Develops relationships with mass affluent individuals to provide credit, depository, and wealth management solutions. Work extensively with Senior Financial Advisors, Mortgage Bankers, and other bank partners to provide financial solutions and a superior level of customer service.
Relationship Management & Customer Acquisition: Develop and implement a plan to achieve sales and profitability objectives as defined by the bank. Utilize a consultative sales approach to identify needs and deliver appropriate solutions across all banking lines to broaden and deepen relationships with mass affluent clients and prospects. Obtain business through a combination of existing customers, partner referrals and COIs. Manage a portfolio of mass affluent customer relationships and develop ongoing contact plans to ensure expansion and retention of their business.
Client Administration and Portfolio Management: Manage a portfolio of credit and deposit products services. Maintain a high level of product knowledge and full understanding of products and services available across all banking and wealth channels. Prepare credit packages for review and approval by credit partners. Interview loan applicants and originate loans for centralized approval. Review declined loans and request exception approvals where appropriate. Assist in collection of loan delinquencies in a timely manner according to current FCB policy.
Risk Mitigation/Compliance: Monitor portfolio performance; take action where necessary to ensure compliance with goals/standards for watch list credits, charge offs, loan documentation exceptions, loan servicing expectations, and CRA activity. Escalate problem loans as needed. Complete all required compliance and credit training and adhere to all compliance policies.
Partnerships: Maintain a professional and productive working relationship with all branch associates, Wealth partners, Business & Commercial Bankers, and other corporate divisions, bringing sales partners into client relationships as needed to manage all aspects of the financial services relationship for our clients and prospects
Community: Represent the Bank in various civic and community functions to further enhance the Bank's image and leverage that visibility for development of additional business opportunities for First Citizens.
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 8 years experience in financial services relationship management (retail/business/commercial banking, private banking, wealth management or other financial services).
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 12 years experience in financial services relationship management (retail/business/commercial banking, private banking, wealth management or other financial services).
6, 63 and life licenses.
Must complete federal registration and annual renewal as required by the SAFE Act.
Personal financial analysis and credit underwriting skills.
Series 7, Series 65, and/or Series 66.
