ManTech is seeking a qualified and experienced Configuration Management Specialist with a background in
leading software developers, system engineers, testers, requirements analysts, operations specialists, database specialists and other staff throughout the full lifecycle development. Prior experience and familiarity with managing enterprise systems and knowledge of US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) enterprise system tools and processes preferred.

The selected candidate will be supporting the Chief Engineer and Program Manager, this position will include leading a team performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, risk management and mitigation across large and complex systems. Experience leading agile development teams is a must. This role will be responsible for the overall success of delivery of projects of significant scope with a direct impact on the outcomes of the program

• Provides configuration management planning
• Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting and configuration audits
• Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentation
• Responsible for configuration change control
• Regulates the change process so that only approved and validated changes are incorporated into product documents and related software
• Responsible for configuration status accounting
• Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports changes and current configuration
• Responsible for configuration audits
• Supports audits to verify that requirements of all baselines have been met
• Supports the quality assurance process audits

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 15 Years of experience
• Must have DHS/CBP System Environment experience
• Must have knowledge of project planning tools such as Microsoft Project
• Must have significant experience with Atlassian toolsets, including JIRA and Confluence
• Must have significant experience with Agile project management methodologies, including Scrum
• Must possess the ability to communicate effectively with project staff and customers to solve complex issues.
• Must be able to perform project reviews and manage project commitments
• Must be a team player, self-motivated, self-starter and a quick learner
• Must possess the ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong listening skills
• Must have strong customer service experience
• Must have excellent problem solving, analytical and documentation skills
• Must have experience developing using one or more of the following technologies:
• Java / J2EE / Enterprise Java solutions
• Message oriented middleware, like Websphere MQ
• Oracle Database technologies
•Biometrics technologies and products
• Mainframe / Cobol / Datacomm technologies

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge and experience in implementing RFID Technology
• Knowledge and experience in implementing Biometrics Technology
• Knowledge and experience in implementing License Plate Reader Technologies
• Knowledge and experience in developing and implementing Mobile Applications

• Must possess or be able to obtain a DHS/CBP Security Clearance.
