Actively partner to deliver planning, forecasting and analysis of trade management to assist the Foodservice team in delivering against stated financial objectives. Provide oversight for various applications and processes supporting financial & sales reporting and analysis.
Responsible for planning, forecasting and trade management
Complete trade and related accounts operating plan and financial forecast
Execute period close activities for trade spend; includes journal entries and balance sheet reconciliation
Analyze trade spending to assist the sales and category marketing teams in making sound trade investment decisions
Compile customer profitability analytics
Assist in compilation & administration of trade budgets for sales
Oversight for selling, general & administrative expense reporting and review
Support business changes due to reorganizations, customer moves and mergers and acquisitions
All other duties and projects as assigned
Bachelor’s degree required – MBA/CPA preferred
5+ years of analytical experience, strong fundamental knowledge of accounting principles – Foodservice industry experience preferred
Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, and financial business acumen
Strong computer skills in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and SAP
Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment
Proven ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers and peers
Proficiency managing and making recommendations for efficiencies with systems and tools.
