Position requires preparation of USAF acquisition products with a focus on the development and maintenance of detailed program schedules. The requirement is for an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), which includes program office and vendor activities integrated into one single IMS in preparation for Milestone decisions and weapon system deliveries. Position requires first-hand experience in the preparation of detailed acquisition-related schedules. Position also requires working knowledge of a variety of scheduling programs. Position requires strong proficiency in MS Project and or Primavera. Candidate must have strong communication skills. Position also requires proficiency in MSWord, PowerPoint, and Excel. The individual must possess sufficient motivation and experience to perform with little to no supervision.
Job requires in-depth knowledge of USAF acquisition; program office operations, DoD 5000 series, AFI 63 se ries, and JCIDS requirements processes. Bachelors degree in technical or management field (desired) and 10 years of DOD work experience with at least 5 years of highly relevant experience in program management; scheduling metrics, tools and processes associated with weapon system acquisition (required). DAWAII Level 3 and/or PMP certification is desired. Candidtate must have demonstrable experience in managing program schedules using MS Project (Primavera desired).
