Job Summary

Responsible for supporting the Director of Investor Relations in areas of financial analysis and communication as it relates to the investment community. Responsibilities include researching specific topics relevant to the investment community, assisting senior management in financial communications, coordinating company presentations and overseeing quantitative benchmarking and analysis. Will support the entire earnings release cycle and relationship with current and future investors. Ideally, 1+ years of experience.


Position Responsibilities

  • Support processes for earnings releases, investor conferences, and other investor meetings. Processes include gathering and analyzing data from business partners, analyzing and understanding Wall Street expectations, drafting of materials (press release, scripts, slides, etc.), and coordinating logistics of events.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly about the company’s results and prospects with the financial community
  • Monitor the company’s trading activity and trends in institutional ownership. Develop and execute a strategy for targeting key investors
  • Monitor and analyze peer earnings reports and trading activity and communicate relevant information to senior management
  • Build and/or update financial models and benchmarking analyses
  • Support earnings call administration as well as investor events and meetings and related scheduling.
  • Complete special projects at the request of the Board of Directors and Senior Leadership Team.


Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 1-3 years of professional general business and financial experience
  • Ability to self motivate in a fast paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment.
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively about financial statements, including how they link together
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively manage those relationships.
  • Ability to effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Experience thinking critically, including leveraging analytics, benchmarking, and insights to generate meaningful strategies and solutions.
