PRIMARY PURPOSEThe Compensation Assistant is responsible for providing support to Compensation with data entry, data management, reporting, and special projects. This role will work closely with the Compensation team to gather data and process requests, in compliance with Parkland¿s policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONSEducation:- High School Diploma or GED required.Experience:- Previous experience in Human Resources or Compensation is required.- Previous experience with PeopleSoft or another Human Resources Information System (HRIS) is preferred. - Experience with data entry, reporting, and data extraction is required. Equivalent Education and/or Experience:- May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and the experience requirements. Certification/Registration/Licensure:- None.Skills or Special Abilities:- Highly detail-oriented; keeps accurate records, organizes information effectively. - Excellent communication skills, both orally and written, communicates issues and resolutions, and provides the appropriate level of support. - Demonstrated ability to work effectively and professionally, with all levels of the organization, in a team-oriented environment. - Organized, multi-tasking, ability to meet strict deadlines, and able to work well under pressure. - Must demonstrate proficiency in handling matters of a confidential nature.- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
