SAIC is looking for a Graphics Specialist in Vicksburg, MS, Stennis, MS, Dayton, OH, APG, MD and Maui, HI.

This candidate provides support with the design and production of graphics for training, proposals, media, and the like. May include support with computer graphics, digital photography, videography, Flash animations, etc., Supports the design and development of multimedia applications, systems and products involving computer graphics and interactive computing such as computer-based systems for personal computers or CD-ROM applications. Incorporates software applications in multiple technology media systems, such as graphics, animation, text, and sound. (It should be understood that this is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of any individual employee's job content. Managers set the specific duties and responsibilities for each employee). Full knowledge of the job. Complete acquaintance with and understanding of the general and detailed aspects of the job and their practical applications to problems and situations ordinarily encountered. Supervision Received: Limited supervision. No instructions needed on routine work, and general instructions given on new lines of work or special assignments.

This candidate is responsible for the following:

(a) Produces graphic art and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, presentations, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites and CD-ROMs.
(b) Generates, manipulates, and integrates graphic images, animations, sound, text and video generated with automated tools into consolidated and seamless multimedia programs.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High School and five (5) years or more related experience.

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments. Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. Operates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.
