Position Summary:

Objective of this role is to grow our broker relationships and optimize broker performance from a national and regional perspective. This includes developing, tracking and measuring national business objectives for headquarter broker performance as well as retail execution. This position covers branded as well as Private Label broker development responsibility. Manager must live near a major airline hub to facilitate travel.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage top-level broker relationships for branded and private label businesses
    • Establish and measure top-level national broker objectives for volume, trade spending, share, distribution, new items, deductions, etc.
    • Lead and conduct quarterly review meetings with broker leadership, sales directors and business development management team to discuss progress against objectives
    • Work with LW sales team to determine opportunities to improve broker effectiveness on our businesses
    • Interact with sales team to get input on broker performance
  • Manage store level execution of MAPS (Merchandising, Assortment, Pricing and Shelving) priorities with broker and LW sales team
    • Work with sales team to ensure account level distribution data accuracy
    • Establish, track, measure and communicate retail broker objectives for core and new items
    • Work with retail broker team to receive internal tracking reports and communicate performance to LW internal sales team
    • Work with retail broker team to ensure achievement of annual goals
  • Conduct broker training on Lamb Weston products and systems where needed.


Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, marketing or related field
  • Minimum 5 years with broker or sales and/or sales support role in CPG industry
  • Strong technical, report running and analytical skills
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong organization skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with DMS/RW3
  • Ability to interact at senior management level
  • Exceptional problem solving skills
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Reasonable proximity to a major air hub
