About the Position:
The Project Manage for the Gas REV programs will implement an industry leading natural gas demonstration program and projects under the Reforming the Energy Vision Initiative within the KEDNY/KEDLI service territories, to develop new services for customers in support of National Grid in meeting regulatory and business growth objectives and enabling expansion of the program while ensuring an appropriate level of corporate responsibility and enhancements to the brand value.
Position Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Accountable for implementation of all of all approved natural gas demonstration projects to develop new options for gas customers in support of the Reforming the Energy Vision initiative.
Primary interface with related corporate functions including Gas Engineering, Gas Control. Marketing, Sales and Program Operations, legal, regulatory and the NY Jurisdictions.
Manage vendor relationships with service providers that provide technologies and financing in commercial and residential buildings.
Collaborate with marketing to create customer communications to recruit participants and to manage the demonstration
Develop and produce regular progress reports for internal senior management as well as regulatory agencies. Support the development of strategic plans to realize the benefits identified.
Manage day-to-day relationships with key stakeholders, such as state, regional and local economic development agencies, community leaders and elected officials in order to understand their requirements and deliver appropriate solutions. Publish the results of the demonstrations..
Knowledge & Experience Required:
A Bachelor's degree in engineering, engineering science and/or business administration or up to 5 years related experience, or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge and experience in project management and basic project financial management.
Knowledge of energy rates, energy technologies and energy service markets.
Ability to manage a large and diverse workload involving multiple stakeholder groups and complex projects and to effectively communicate plans and progress.
