The VP, Softlines Selling Services provides Strategic Direction for Field Apparel and Visual Execution in partnership with the Softlines Business Units . This individual has Top Line Accountability for driving performance across the Sears Chain through member experience, profitability and market growth. This individual is responsible for chain-wide softlines performance to include Apparel, Footwear, Jewelry, Home Fashions, and Seasonal/Outdoor Living. In addition to translating the execution of business plans for the nation to drive softlines performance and maximize opportunities, this individual leads all softlines initiatives, including customized assortments, visually appealing experience, national standards, and partnerships with others. Drives a "WOW" member experience by reinforcing Members First Engagement, setting expectations for integrated retail tools, and embedding coaching and development processes across the nation. This individual provides our clients and other business partners with accurate and timely information that impacts assorting decision and/or buying decisions. The VP, Softlines Selling Services consults with the Business Unit Leaders on how to maximize sales potential via simplified direction to the field organization. Has ownership on merchandise presentation direction and visual implementation that impacts the member experience. Accountable for driving performance across markets through member experience, profitability and market growth.
