Position Responsibilities

  • Manage full life cycle of recruiting process from specification through the employment offer
  • Execute staffing strategies that include but are not limited to enhancing diverse recruitment efforts and implement a plan to adhere to business and staffing team objectives
  • Present qualified diverse candidate pool along with assessments and make hiring recommendations to managers
  • Conduct thorough recruitment needs assessments with hiring managers
  • Provide consultative, problem-solving support for challenging staffing needs
  • Develop and maintain candidate slates for current and future positions
  • Develop on-line talent communities to develop talent pipeline. ConAgra partners with LinkedIn and as a result, it is critical that this associate recruiter is able to fully leverage the power of this tool
  • Partnering with Human Resources and Hiring Managers to understand staffing and market needs
  • Leverage industry-specific partnerships for networking purposes
  • Conducting candidate interviews to evaluate and summarize relevant skills and experience
  • Developing data and metrics to track candidates through the recruitment process
  • Providing insights on market trends, salaries, and strategies to hiring managers
  • Championing ConAgra’s employment brand to potential candidates and marketing ConAgra Foods as an employer of choice
  • Ensuring all contact with potential candidates is a positive and first-rate experience
  • Educating and influencing candidates with the ConAgra Foods Employment Brand message, our vision and mission
  • Evaluating and identifying areas within the current sourcing model to achieve efficiency and productivity
  • Manage multiple open requisitions at a time
  • Developing a high level of business acumen and educating potential candidates on the benefits of joining ConAgra Foods
  • Position open to Omaha, NE or Chicago, IL


Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required
  • Minimum 1 year experience with full-life-cycle or college recruiting required
  • Experience in leveraging social media tools, such as LinkedIn, as a candidate identification and development tool preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of the internet, search engines, networking sites, job boards and industry associations/niche web sites
  • Ability to assess talent and make recommendations to the business
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships, influence others at all levels, and drive change in a complex, matrix environment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, conflict management, administration, reasoning and decision making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Very strong personal standards of ethics and integrity
