.Net Developer/Technical Consultant

Position Description
CGI has an opening for a .Net developer to provide onsite technical support for CGI?s utilities industry solution. The position requires a minimum of 4 years of technical experience in a Microsoft environment (.NET, C#, C++, VB). Training will be provided for the CGI application technical environment and may require 3-4 weeks of travel to the training location.

The candidate must be a fast learner and have excellent communication skills to work across CGI and the client project team. Candidate should have a consultant background.

The position requires taking ownership of issues and using his/her technical skills to gather the necessary information to solve issues. Your future duties and responsibilities
Working onsite at our client you will help with our utilities solution. Working in a visible high technical capacity with our client and teams. You will be responsible for communicating with our CGI team and the client's team working to ensure the solution is meeting expectations in your field of expertise. Required qualifications to be successful in this role
? Well balanced technical background in a Microsoft environment. (VB,C++,C#, .NET, Windows Servers, etc.).

? System Installation ? Administration ? Configuration

? Excellent communication skills with a customer service orientation

? Ability to work well with all levels of the organization.

? Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities with a high attention to detail

? Experience in Application Support

? Experience in Programming

? Team spirit, initiative, and delivery excellence

? Utilities industry experience a plus

? Minimum 4 years .NET experience
