Field Service Analyst (Journeyman)
Must be capable of performing analysis of system operations. Must have knowledge of and experience in the utilization of operating systems and database management systems. Must have experience in fault detection, isolation, and correction of computer systems and individual peripheral devices. Must be capable of routine system maintenance and administrative functions including: system configuration and modifications; adding, removing and replacing hardware and software items; system startup, shut down, backup and restore; database administration and maintenance; and system user access control. Must have a substantial background in communications and communications connectivity. Must have specific experience with systems and systems operations within the specific functional area to which assigned. Must be available for assignment to various CONUS/OCONUS sites for extended terms. Military experience is highly desirable. Completion of a U.S. Military Service Non Commissioned Officer (NCO) or Senior NCO Academy Course and/or Officer Basic or Advanced Course is desirable.
As a member of the AFATDS Field Integration Team (FIT), assigned to support the customer within the Yongsan, Korea, region and surrounding area, principle duties will include (but not limited to) the following:
? Generate customer related reports from multiple sources, for example Daily Activity Reports, Trip Requests, Trip Reports
? Provides over ? the ? shoulder training upon request
? Assist units at all echelons in Fire Support/AFATDS operations and provide recommendations ensuring overall mission effectiveness
? Submit updates the Joint Master Unit List (JMUL)
? Must be willing to deploy to various CONUS and OCONUS locations to provide support, approx 50%
? Enter all incidents in the Incident Reporting Module within the SIF
? Interact with the customer on a daily basis
? Distribute software updates
? Support and assist as needed with hardware upgrades
? Become a subject matter expert on all ABCS systems, current and future
? It is a requirement to have at least three (3) years AFATDS experience, solving and analyzing system/software issues in the functional area to which assigned.
? Must have/obtain security + level II certification.
? Must obtain Windows 7 computing environment certification within 60 days.
? Must poses excellent oral and written communications skills
? Ability to successfully complete the CGI Background Investigation to include; 50 State Criminal, Education and Employment; Additionally, your ability to successfully complete a Credit and/or Driving Records Checks may be conducted if required by the contract for continued employment.
? Possession of an INTERIM SECRET security clearance is required to begin employment; Ability to maintain a SECRET security clearance is required for continued employment; US Citizenship is required.
? Certifications for security + level II and windows 7 computing environment.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
? Excellent written and verbal skills.
? Minimum of 3 years functional experience required. 3 years additional functional experience required in lieu of education.
? Experience in using MS Office Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
? Interoperability experience using all ABCS
? Establishing/troubleshooting tactical networks.
