Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Help Desk Specialist to join our team in the Crystal City, VA area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to trouble tickets or direct request form the end user--frequently occurs at the user’s desktop
  • Catalog and track all requests directed to the Help Desk in conjunction with customer headquarters
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain all workstation hardware, software and all peripheral IT devices
  • Manage the assignment and disposition of Help Desk requests to the proper support group
  • Support the desktop configuration as required
  • Install Printers
  • Desk side support
  • Desk side training
  • Catalog and track all requests directed to the help Desk
  • Manage and assign Help Desk requests to the proper groups
  • Install Applications from Server to Desktop and Vendor Applications such as Oracle, ArcGis, HSIP
  • Support disaster recovery and COOP. Set VTC for daily briefs and other schedule meetings
  • Transfer phones, reset voicemail password, delete telephone mailboxes
  • Schedule printer maintenance/repairs
  • Assist in gathering information for the printer maintenance contract
  • Prepare workstations for Classroom Training
  • Configure and maintain the PBX and all associated voice communications systems
  • Install, test, and maintain all infrastructure cabling (voice and data)
  • Manage all data communications and telecommunications
  • Manage, maintain, and coordinate technical support of the audio-visual equipment including Video teleconference (VTC), streaming video, television, projector, and other.
  • Participate in the installation and testing, operational and control, and compliance with security safeguards for all COMSEC equipment
  • Provide VTC upon request (with customer facility with listed address)

Position Requirements:

  • Requires High School diploma or equivalent, and two or more years of related experience
  • Experience working with a ticketing system
  • Experience providing desk side support and training
  • Experience installing, configuring, testing and maintaining all workstation hardware, software and all peripheral IT devices
  • Experience transferring phones, resetting voicemail passwords, deleting telephone mailboxes

Security Requirements:

U.S. Citizenship and an Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility. Must be clearable up to TS/SCI with Polygraph.
